# Notification settings

> How to manage your email notification preferences in Henshu.

Henshu sends email notifications when background tasks finish. You can control which notifications you receive and set a threshold so you only get notified for longer jobs.

## How do I change my notification settings?

Click your profile icon, then go to **Notifications** in the Settings panel.

## Job completion messages

Toggle email notifications for background tasks:

* **Audio Enhancement** notifies you when audio enhancement is complete
* **Episode Generation** notifies you when episode generation is complete

### Notification threshold

You can set a minimum job duration before Henshu sends a notification. If a job finishes faster than the threshold, no email is sent. This avoids getting emails for quick jobs that finish while you're still in the editor.

Options: Immediately, 2 minutes, 5 minutes, 10 minutes (default), 30 minutes.

## General communications

* **Product & Onboarding Emails** covers new features, onboarding tips, and promotional content
* **Receipts** sends emailed receipts for your purchases
